Cllr Lee Finn has labelled Plymouth City Council 'unethical' for their conduct over their Miel Deal which has led to the Councils accounts STILL not being signed off from 2019/20.
The council’s audit and governance committee discussed the issues at its July meeting where Paul Dossett, from Grant Thornton, said: “We as auditors did not agree with the council’s approach to that transaction.”
In 2019, Labour had control of the Council and Cllr Mark Lowry, who is currently the Cabinet member for finance and held the same position in 2019, said the situation has reached an impasse.
