Eggbuckland Councillor Lynda Bowyer joined local residents today for the first community lunch of 2019. Lynda said " I was delighted to see so many local residents enjoying a hearty lunch at St Edward's church hall, and it was a good way to start the New Year. Our community lunches have been running for the last few years, as a result of joint efforts from Eggbuckland Councillors and our Eggbuckland Vicar, Chris Routledge.
Lynda added, " it was great to see the Hall buzzing with conversation and everyone catching up after the Christmas festivities. Our thanks to Justine and her team who work so hard in the kitchen to get the meal just right. Our community lunch is held on the second Wednesday each month, at 12 noon, and everyone is welcome."
