Plympton Conservative Councillors Glenn Jordan, Sam Leaves, Terri Beer, Andrea Loveridge, Patrick Nicholson, David James, Ian Darcy and Candidates Dan Collins and Natalie Harrison have launched a petition to reopen Plympton Library.
Plympton Library is a hub for local residents, and the prolonged closure of the library is having a detrimental impact to the local community.

Plympton Chaddlewood Candidate, Dan Collins, said:
“Its important to our communities that the library reopens as soon as possible. It is crucial that the Library is safe for everyone to use, but the continued closure of the Library when others have reopened is unacceptable.”
Natalie Harrison, Candidate for Plympton St Mary, said:
“Plympton residents are truly being let down by the Labour run Plymouth City Council. Plympton Library is a very popular library and could reopen with restrictions as many others have.”
